Product’s Details:
- Anti D (Trinbelimab) is a highly purified, human anti-D immunoglobulin injection indicated for the prevention of Rh isoimmunization in Rh-negative individuals.
- Mechanism of Action: Anti-D immunoglobulin prevents the maternal immune system from recognizing and responding to Rh(D)-positive fetal red blood cells, thereby reducing the risk of hemolytic disease of the newborn in future pregnancies.
- Indications:
- Routine antenatal prophylaxis at 28 weeks gestation in Rh-negative women
- Following delivery of an Rh-positive baby to Rh-negative mothers
- After miscarriage, abortion, ectopic pregnancy, amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, or abdominal trauma in Rh-negative women
- Blood transfusion incompatibility prevention
- Dosage & Administration: Given as a single intramuscular injection as per physician’s guidelines
