• Caspofungin Acetate Injection is an antifungal medication used to treat serious fungal infections, including invasive candidiasis and aspergillosis. Common side effects may include rash, fever, chills, diarrhea, decreased potassium levels and elevated liver enzymes.
• Injection site reactions like pain, swelling or redness may also occur. It should be used under medical supervision and patients who are pregnant, planning to conceive or breastfeeding should consult their doctor before use.
