• Rione T 1.125gm Injection is a combination therapy that contains Ceftriaxone, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic, and Tazobactam, a beta-lactamase inhibitor. This dual formulation enhances antibacterial activity by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis while simultaneously protecting ceftriaxone from enzymatic degradation by beta-lactamase producing organisms. The result is broader coverage and improved effectiveness against resistant bacterial strains.
• Mechanism of Action::
  • Ceftriaxone: Inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs), leading to bacterial lysis and death.
  • Tazobactam: Irreversibly inhibits beta-lactamase enzymes, extending ceftriaxone’s activity against resistant bacteria.
