• Wonexa 500mg Injection is used to prevent or control bleeding by inhibiting the breakdown of blood clots. It is especially useful in conditions where fibrinolysis (clot breakdown) is enhanced, such as in surgery, trauma, heavy menstruation or certain bleeding disorders.
• Common Side effect:
  • Nausea, vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Injection site reactions (pain, irritation)
• Rare but Serious:
  • Thrombosis (DVT, PE, stroke — especially in high-risk patients)
  • Hypotension (if injected too rapidly)
  • Allergic reactions or skin rash
  • Seizures (at high doses, especially in cardiac surgery)
• Storage:
  • Store at 15–30°C
  • Protect from light and freezing
  • Use clear, colorless solution only
