• Vamocin 1g is a sterile formulation of Vancomycin Hydrochloride, used to treat serious or life threatening infections caused by Gram-positive bacteria, especially resistant strains like MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus).

  Indications / Uses

  • MRSA and other resistant Gram-positive infections
  • Bloodstream infections and sepsis
  • Endocarditis
  • Osteomyelitis
  • Pneumonia (hospital-acquired or ventilator-associated)
  • CNS infections like meningitis (in combination)
  • Skin and soft tissue infections
  • Clostridioides difficile colitis (oral form only)
  • Nephrotoxicity (especially with prolonged use or in combo with aminoglycosides)
  • Ototoxicity (rare)
