• LVTAM 100mg Injection contains Levetiracetam, an antiepileptic drug (AED) used to manage various types of seizures. It is chemically unrelated to other antiepileptics and offers a favorable safety profile. It can be used when oral administration is not feasible, providing rapid seizure control in acute settings.
• Indications / Uses:
  • Focal (partial-onset) seizures
  • Myoclonic seizures
  • Status epilepticus (off-label, when IV form is used acutely)
  • Short-term replacement for oral levetiracetam when oral administration isn’t feasible
• Side Effects:
  Common:
  • Drowsiness, dizziness
  • Irritability or mood changes
  • Weakness or fatigue
  • Headache

  Serious:

  • Behavioral changes (aggression, anxiety)
  • Stevens-Johnson Syndrome (rare)
  • Suicidal thoughts (monitor closely)
• Storage:
  • Store at 20–25°C (room temperature)
  • Use diluted solution within 24 hours if refrigerated
  • Do not mix with other drugs unless compatibility is confirmed
