Product’s Details:
- Ferric Carboxymaltose is a stable iron complex that delivers iron in a controlled manner for absorption by iron-binding proteins such as transferrin and ferritin. This iron supports hemoglobin production and replenishes iron reserves. It is used in the treatment of iron deficiency anemia, particularly in patients who cannot tolerate or unresponsive to oral iron therapy Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) patients (non-dialysis)
- Mechanism of Action:
- Ferric Carboxymaltose works by slowly releasing iron into the bloodstream in a safe and controlled way. Once in the blood, this iron attaches to natural carrier proteins, which transport it to where it is needed most. The body then uses the iron to produce hemoglobin the protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen. By boosting hemoglobin and restoring iron levels, it helps improve energy, reduce fatigue and treat anemia.
- Indications:
- Patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) who are not on dialysis/li>
- People who cannot tolerate iron tablets
- Individuals who need quick improvement of iron levels to restore energy and reduce symptoms of anemia
