Dagriton 110 mg is a direct thrombin inhibitor, part of the novel oral anticoagulants (NOACs). It works by inhibiting thrombin, preventing clot formation, and lowering the risk of stroke, systemic embolism, and venous thromboembolism.
Indications:
- Non-valvular atrial fibrillation: reduces stroke and systemic embolism risk
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE): treatment and recurrence prevention
- Post-surgery prophylaxis: following hip or knee replacement
