• Usage / Application:
  • Prevents Rh sensitization in Rh-negative individuals exposed to Rh-positive blood
  • Used after miscarriage, abortion, ectopic pregnancy, or amniocentesis
• Precautions / Monitoring::
  • Watch for allergic or anaphylactic reactions
  • Use caution in patients with bleeding disorders; subcutaneous administration may be needed
  • Ineffective if given too late (e.g., after 72 hours)
