Product’s Details:

• Vulcan Injection contains Amiodarone Hydrochloride, a Class III antiarrhythmic agent. It is used for the treatment and prevention of life-threatening ventricular arrhythmias and, in emergencies, for atrial fibrillation or flutter when oral therapy is not suitable.
• Indications / Uses:
  • Ventricular tachycardia (VT)
  • Ventricular fibrillation (VF)
  • Supraventricular arrhythmias (e.g., atrial fibrillation with rapid ventricular response)
• Common Side Effects:
  • Hypotension (especially during rapid infusion)
  • Bradycardia
  • Phlebitis at injection site
• Serious:
  • Pulmonary toxicity (pneumonitis, fibrosis)
  • Thyroid dysfunction (hypo- or hyperthyroidism)
  • Liver enzyme elevation or hepatotoxicity
  • QT prolongation and torsades de pointes (rare)
  • Photosensitivity and corneal microdeposits (with prolonged use)
• Storage:
  • Store below 25°C
  • Protect from light
  • Do not freeze
  • Discard unused portion after dilution/use
