• Quethro (Azithromycin 500mg Injection) is an antibiotic used for the treatment of Pelvic Inflammatory Disease. It works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis through binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit, preventing peptide chain elongation. It is bacteriostatic but can be bactericidal at high concentrations.
