Product’s Details:

• Azenot 2gm is a monobactam beta-lactam antibiotic, specifically active against aerobic Gram-negative bacteria, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa. It is generally reserved for severe infections and is also useful in penicillin-allergic patients due to minimal cross-reactivity.
• Indications / Uses:
  • Urinary tract infections (UTIs).
  • Lower respiratory tract infections (e.g., pneumonia).
  • Septicemia.
  • Skin and soft tissue infections.
  • Intra-abdominal infections (with other agents for anaerobic coverage).
  • Gynaecologic infections.
• Common Side Effects:
  • Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting
  • Local reactions: pain or swelling at injection site.
  • Rash, fever.
  • Serious (Rare): Clostridioides difficile–associated diarrhea.
  • Hypersensitivity reactions (rare).
  • Liver enzyme elevation.
  • Seizures in high doses or in patients with renal impairment.
