- Atacurium 10mg is a non-depolarizing neuromuscular blocking agent used to induce muscle relaxation during surgery or mechanical ventilation. It acts by blocking acetylcholine at the neuromuscular junction, allowing for controlled paralysis during anesthesia or intensive care procedures.
- Indications / Uses:
- Does not cause fasciculations (unlike succinylcholine)
- Provides reliable intermediate-duration muscle relaxation
- Monitor train-of-four (TOF) or use a nerve stimulator to titrate dosage
